Description :	The Epson LQ-500 Impact Printer was a new addition to the range and aimed at the low end LQ printer market. It offered a print quality comparable to other LQ printers but fortified speed and paper handling to enable it to be sold at a very competitive price. The printer has two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located below a cover at the top right-hand rear of the printer. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings.
